This was brought to my attention via Drawn! but you can praise me too. Enjoy.

  • It's much more informal than something like word balloon, but that said, I love comic book interview podcasts. It's great to hear from Quietly. I'm crossing my fingers for a future Grant Morrison interview.

  • Me too, on all counts. But yeah, a lot of it is technical and style preferences, and Photoshop talk. still interesting though. Then again almost anything can sound interesting with a Scotish accent.

  • Definately. I'm sure that I'd get more out of the interview if I was an artist. All the talk of loose and tight drawings was *way* over my head.

  • a loose drawing is one that's drawn very loosely, you're getting very free motions on the page, tight is when you go in and you make more concrete lines and you add details and so on and so forth. Like Quitely I find that looser drawings have much more character and lose something in the (often essential) process of tightening the drawing.
